Why My Job’s Schedule Was Literally Trying to Kill Me

Let’s face it: the earliest times of 4:30 am on one day, 4:54 am the next, and 6:57 am after that were never designed for humans. It was as if my job was attempting to make me lose.

My body was in a state of constant flux, lacking any indication of sleep. Despite my efforts to set alarms every ten minutes and Alexa for backup, it felt like my brain had developed a defense mechanism.
